Goal

Look at how the business performed over a period you choose, keep that period as a saved view, and print or export the page.

Prerequisites

  • Your role has the Reports permission. Without it the page says you do not have permission to view analytics.
  • Some activity exists in the period you choose. An empty period shows empty charts.

Steps

  1. Open Analytics in the main navigation. It opens on Overview and uses This month.
  2. Open the date range menu at the top right and choose a range, for example Last month, This quarter, This year or All time. For exact dates choose Custom range, then use Pick dates.
  3. Read the line under the title. It shows the dates the figures cover, so you can check the range was applied.
  4. Move between the sections with the row of links: Overview, Sales (with Enquiries, Email and Pricing), Operations, Cars & drivers, Partners, Finance and Report library. The chosen range carries over from one section to the next.
  5. To keep a range for later, choose a range other than This month, then select Save current. Type a View name and select Save. Select a saved view in the Saved views: row to apply it again. Select the X on a saved view to delete it.
  6. To print the page, open Export and choose Print view.
  7. To download data, open Export again and choose the file item that the section offers: Enquiries report (PDF) on Enquiries, Utilization CSV on Company, or Export visible data (CSV) on Finance.

Expected result

Every section shows figures for the range you chose, and the dates are written under the title. A saved view appears in the Saved views: row, and the range comes back when you select it. Saved views are stored in this browser for your user, so they do not follow you to another browser or device.

Troubleshooting

  • If you see "You do not have permission to view analytics", ask an Owner or Admin for the Reports permission.
  • If Save current is greyed out, the range is still This month. Choose a different range first. A saved view stores the date range only.
  • If the Export menu offers only Print view, the current section has no file export. Use Print view, or build a financial report in Accounting.
  • If Export visible data (CSV) is greyed out, the Finance figures are still loading or failed to load. Wait, or reload the page.
  • If a figure is missing or a section shows an error card instead of numbers, that section could not load. Try again, then report the problem if it persists.
  • If the totals differ from a report in Accounting, check that both use the same dates and the same currency.
