Goal
Get from the full Bookings list to the bookings you need, for example today's work, jobs without a driver, or one driver's bookings, and download that list if you need it elsewhere.
Prerequisites
- Your role can view bookings.
- Some bookings exist. An empty workspace shows an empty list.
Steps
- Open Bookings. The Bookings tab shows the list. The Client requests tab next to it holds requests from the client portal.
- In Quick views, pick Upcoming, Today, Unassigned upcoming, Payment due or All. A quick view replaces the date window and the payment filter and leaves your other filters alone. Unassigned upcoming shows jobs that have neither a driver nor a partner.
- Type in the search box. It searches by booking, client, route, driver or vehicle.
- Select Filters to open Filter bookings. Set any of these, then select Apply filters:
- Date window: Upcoming, Today, This week, Custom range with From and To, or All dates.
- Status and Payment Status.
- Driver and Vehicle.
- Resources: No driver, No vehicle or Unassigned.
- Coverage: Any coverage, Own fleet, Via partner or Unassigned.
- Read the filter chips above the list. Remove one chip to drop that filter, or use Clear all filters. Reset all in the panel also clears everything.
- Use the view switcher to move between List, Calendar and Dispatch. The date window you set in Filters applies to the list only, because Calendar and Dispatch keep their own dates.
- Select Export to download the filtered list as a
bookings.csvfile. The export covers every booking that matches your filters, not only the rows on screen.
Expected result
The list shows only matching bookings, the chips name every filter that is active, and the exported file has the same rows.
Troubleshooting
- If the list is empty, look at the chips. The default quick view is Upcoming, which hides past bookings, so select All to see everything.
- If a booking you expect is missing, check Date window and Status. A canceled booking can sit behind a status filter.
- If Export is greyed out, wait for the previous export to finish.
- If the export fails, an error appears with a retry option. Try again, and report it if it keeps failing.
- If the search finds nothing for a name you know, clear the filter chips first. Search and filters work together, so a filter can hide the match.
