A feature is not in your plan or a limit is reached
Tell a plan gate from a role problem, see which limit you hit, and choose between freeing up room, waiting or changing plan.

Goal
Find out whether 4fleet is blocking you because your plan does not include a feature, because you have used up an allowance, or because of your role, and take the matching action.
Prerequisites
- You can see the message on screen, or you can name the screen or action that was refused.
- To change the plan, you need to be an Owner or Admin.
Steps
- Read the message. "Not available on your plan" or "This feature requires the ... plan or higher" means the feature is not in your plan. "You've reached your ... limit" means a count is used up. "AI usage limit reached" means the AI operations allowance is used up.
- If the message names a plan, note it. Plans are Solo, Starter, Operations and Scale.
- Open Settings > Plan & billing > Subscription and check Current Plan. Open the Usage & add-ons tab to see what you have used against each limit.
- For a count limit such as vehicles or team members, either remove records you no longer need, or buy more under Extra capacity on the Usage & add-ons tab if the plan allows it. Add-ons are not sold on Solo.
- For a missing feature, open the Plans tab and compare the plans. Select Upgrade on a plan that includes it.
- For the AI limit, open Settings > Automations & AI > AI & logs and select the Usage tab to see what used the operations. The allowance returns with the next billing period on a paid plan.
- If you are not an Owner or Admin, pass the message to one of them. The analytics pages show "Ask your workspace owner or an admin to upgrade the plan" for this.
Expected result
You know which of the three causes applies and have either freed room, changed the plan, or handed the request to the person who can.
Troubleshooting
- If there is no Try again button on a blocked report, that is intended. A plan limit does not go away on retry.
- If the screen offers View plans, your role can open the plan page. If it shows the line about asking an admin, your role cannot.
- If you were able to use the feature before, check whether the subscription changed plan or ended.
- If you hit the AI limit, quoting, sending and dispatch still work without AI.
- If the limit is on a free trial, the limits of the trial apply until you choose a plan.
- If the message is about permission and not a plan, see the permission guide.
