Confirm the driver and vehicle for your job

Once the operator chooses your price, name the driver, their phone and the vehicle, so the passenger details and the job sheet open up.

Goal

Give the operator the driver name, driver phone and vehicle for a job they chose you for, so the job is ready to go.

Prerequisites

  • The operator has chosen your price, and the job shows Crew required in your portal or asks for driver details on the email link.
  • You know which driver covers the job, their mobile number and the vehicle they will use.

Steps

  1. In your partner portal, open the Jobs tab. Jobs still waiting for a driver show Crew required. On Home, the next job also shows how many jobs are missing crew.
  2. Select the job to open its details.
  3. Under Confirm crew, read the line that says how many jobs the details apply to. The same driver and vehicle are saved for every job listed there.
  4. Fill in Driver name, Driver phone and Vehicle description. All three are required. Do not add anything the operator has not asked for.
  5. Select Confirm driver and vehicle. The panel shows "Changes saved." and the job changes to Crew confirmed.
  6. Check the Passenger section. Passenger details appear only after the driver and vehicle are confirmed.
  7. Without portal access, open the link from the operator's email instead. A chosen job without a driver opens on Add driver & vehicle details. Fill in the driver name, phone and vehicle, then select Save driver details.
  8. To change the driver later from the email link, select Update driver details, correct the fields and select Save driver details. If the passenger has already been sent their reminder, they receive the new details too.

Expected result

The job shows Crew confirmed, the operator sees your driver and vehicle, and the passenger details and Download job sheet become available to you.

Troubleshooting

  • If Confirm driver and vehicle stays disabled, one of the three fields is empty.
  • If the page says "Crew changes are closed for this job. Contact the operator if a correction is needed.", the job has finished or been canceled, or more than six hours have passed since its scheduled end. Send the correction to the operator.
  • If the panel says "The job changed. Refresh before making another change.", select Refresh, check the job and enter the details again.
  • If no passenger details appear on a Quote request, the customer has not booked yet. They appear once the booking is confirmed and the crew is in place.
  • If saving fails with "Could not save the details. Please try again.", check your connection and save again. If it keeps failing, send the details to the operator by email.
