Goal

Send the operator a price for every job on a request, or turn the request down with a reason, straight from the link in their email.

Prerequisites

  • You received a job request email from the operator. The link in it is unique to you and expires, so do not forward it.
  • You know whether you have a vehicle and a driver free for the dates and times on the request.
  • You know the price your company will accept for each job, in the currency the request uses.

Steps

  1. Open the link from the email. The page is titled Job request, or Quote request when the customer has not booked yet.
  2. On a Quote request, read the notice at the top: the job is not confirmed until the customer books and the operator chooses your price.
  3. Read the note from the operator, if there is one. It often carries what does not fit the route, such as waiting time.
  4. Read every job on the request: pickup, stops, dropoff, date and time, passengers, flight number, luggage and special requests.
  5. Enter your price for each job under Your price. The total updates as you type. Every job needs a price above zero before the price can be sent.
  6. If you already know who covers the work, fill in Driver name (optional), Driver phone (optional) and the vehicle fields. You can leave them empty and add the driver later.
  7. Add anything the operator should know in Notes (optional).
  8. Select Accept and send price. The page reloads and the progress line moves from Request sent to Quote submitted.
  9. To turn the request down instead, choose the reason that fits, such as Fully booked, No vehicle, Out of area or Other, and select Decline. You do not need to enter prices to decline.
  10. Wait for the operator's decision. If they choose your price, the same link shows Job confirmed, or Awaiting customer confirmation for a quote request, and asks for the driver and vehicle.

Expected result

The operator has your price for every job, or your decline with its reason. Reopening the link shows the answer you gave and, once you are chosen, the confirmed job.

Troubleshooting

  • If Accept and send price stays disabled, at least one job has no price or a price of zero.
  • If the page says "The operator changed the jobs in this request. Contact them for an updated request before quoting. You can still decline.", the jobs no longer match what was sent to you. Ask the operator for a new request, or decline this one.
  • If the page says "This request changed. Reload the latest details before trying again.", select Try again and check the details before you answer.
  • If the page says "This request is unavailable", the request was already answered, has expired, or was closed by the operator. Reply to the email that carried the link if you still want the work.
  • If the page says "This operator cannot take on new partner jobs through this link right now.", reply to the email and arrange the job with the operator directly. Declining still works.
  • If the page says "Too many requests", wait a minute and open the link again. Your link is still valid.
  • If you sent the wrong price, it cannot be edited on the page. Contact the operator straight away. Cancel my acceptance takes your price back completely, and it cannot be undone.
